Gauhati University PG Admission 2025 : This is for information of all concerned that the Post Graduate Entrance Test for the session 2026-27 ( PGET – 2026 ) of Gauhati University will be held on July 3, 4 and 5, 2026
The Examination will be held in 20 Examination Centres across the state of Assam and the northeastern states for convenience of the candidates who are willing to get admitted at Gauhati University to pursue Post Graduate Programmes of Study and in its affiliated colleges/institutes.

Eligibility Criteria

Entrance Exam (PGET 2025)
Gauhati University conducts a Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) for admission into most PG programs.
PGET Exam Highlights:

- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer
- Subject-wise exams will be held from 10 to 12 July.
