Relaxation of Marks
5% relaxation in qualifying marks is provided for:
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, MOBC, or PWD categories.
- Candidates with at least 5 years of teaching experience in a school recognized up to the 10th standard by ASSEB, Assam.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, ensure you meet the following academic requirements:
- General Candidates: Must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in either a Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree (Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities).
- Engineering/Technology Students: Those with a specialization in Science and Mathematics require at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade point.
- Important Note on Honours: A candidate with 50% marks in an Honours/Major subject but less than 50% in aggregate for all papers of the Bachelor’s degree is not eligible.
- Entrance Exam: All candidates must clear the B.Ed. CET conducted by Dibrugarh University.
