Negative Marks : There shall be for no negative marking for wrong answer .
Question Paper Language : The questions will be both English & Assamese language .
Exam Centres : Guwahati , Dibrugarh , Silchar , Jorhat , Barpeta , Tezpur , Diphu , Lakhimpur , Nagaon , Nalbari , Dhubri , & Kokrajhar .
Eligibility Criteria
1 . Applicant must be a citizen of India .
2. Permanent Resident Certificate is mandatory for admission in the Govt. Institute of Assam .
3. age limit 17 years . The upper age limit is 35 years . ( No age bar for RANM/RLHV candidates )
4. Student shall be medically fit .
5. Student shall be admitted once in a year .
Education Qualification
| 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government . However Science is preferable. Three (core elective) subject marks may be taken for calculating the percentage of marks excluding the marks in English. Also, it has to be ensured the candidate has pass marks in English. |
