Candidates can follow these simple steps to download their response sheets:

  • Click on the “Download Answer Key” link.
  • A login page will open on the official SSC portal.
  • Enter your Roll Number and Password (as per Admission Certificate).
  • Click on “Login”.

Raise Objection (Challenge Answer Key)

If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the official answer key, they can challenge it online.

  • Fee: Rs. 100/- per question/answer challenged.
  • Time Limit: Representations must be submitted within the stipulated time frame announced by SSC.

How to Calculate SSC CHSL Tier-1 Marks?

After downloading the provisional answer key, candidates can calculate their raw scores by following the official marking scheme. The Staff Selection Commission follows a negative marking system for the Tier-I exam.

Use the following formula to calculate your tentative score:

  • For every correct answer: Add +2 Marks.
  • For every incorrect answer: Deduct 0.50 Marks.
  • Unattempted questions: 0 Marks.

Formula: (Total Correct Answers × 2) – (Total Wrong Answers × 0.50) = Your Final Score
