SSC CGL Tier 1 Cut-Off Marks 2025

The cut-off marks vary by category and post preference. SSC releases separate lists:

  • List 1: Candidates qualified for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator posts
  • List 2: For specific higher-cut-off posts
  • List 3: For all other remaining posts (majority of candidates fall here)

How to Check SSC CGL Result 2025?

The result is published in PDF format containing the Roll Numbers and Names of qualified candidates. Follow these simple steps to check your result:

  1. Step 1: Scroll down to the “Important Links” section below.
  2. Step 2: Click on the link corresponding to the post you applied for (List 1, List 2, or List 3).
    • Note: Most candidates will find their names in List 3 (Common for all other posts).
  3. Step 3: A PDF file will open on your screen. Download it.
  4. Step 4: Open the PDF and use the Search option (Ctrl+F).
  5. Step 5: Enter your Roll Number. If your roll number appears in the list, congratulations! You have qualified for the Tier-II exam

The individual scorecards/marks for qualified and non-qualified candidates are usually released 7-10 days after the result.

What is Next After Tier-1 Result?

Qualifying in the Tier-1 exam is just the first step. The Tier-1 marks are qualifying in nature and will not be added to the final merit list (as per the new pattern). However, clearing the cut-off is mandatory to move to the next stage.

Tier-II (Mains) Exam Pattern: The selected candidates will now have to appear for the Tier-II Examination, which is the deciding factor for the job. The Tier-II exam consists of:

  1. Paper-I (Compulsory for all posts): It includes Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge.
  2. Data Entry Speed Test (DEST): A typing test which is qualifying in nature but mandatory for all posts.
  3. Paper-II & III: Only for JSO and AAO posts respectively.
