IASST is looking to fill 01 position for a Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) under the Physical Sciences: Experimental Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science subject area.
IASST Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this prestigious fellowship, candidates must fulfill the following educational and experience requirements:
1. Educational Qualification:
- Essential: Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in Physics AND a Ph.D. in Physics / Materials Science / Polymer Science / Nanoscience.
- Required Expertise: The candidate must have expertise in performing electrical measurements, synthesis of functional nanomaterials, polymer nanocomposites, and fabricating free-standing films of polymer/polymer composite materials.
- Desirable: Experience in handling electrical and electrochemical measurement setups and working on polymer/functional nanomaterials related to supercapacitors, energy storage, or polymer-based sensing applications.
2. Publication Requirement:
- Candidates must have at least 2 first-author publications in peer-reviewed national or international journals with an Impact Factor of more than 2.
3. Age Limit:
- The upper age limit is 35 years at the time of application.
- Age Relaxation: Relaxation is applicable as per Government of India (GoI) rules.
