Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed Admission 2026
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility norms to appear for the B.Ed CET 2026:
- Academic Qualification: Candidate must have at least 50% marks (in Aggregate) either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities.
- For Engineering/Technology Grads: Candidates with a Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics must have 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point.
- Relaxation: A relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks shall be provided to:
- Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC/ PwD categories.
- Teachers with minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
Note: A candidate securing 50% marks in Honours/Major subject but less than 50% in aggregate in the Bachelor’s degree will NOT be eligible for admission.
Dibrugarh University B.Ed CET Exam Pattern
The entrance test usually carries a maximum of 70 Marks. The duration of the test is 1 Hour 30 Minutes.
- Section A: General English (15 Marks)
- Section B: General Knowledge (20 Marks)
- Section C: Test of Reasoning (15 Marks)
- Section D: Numerical Ability (10 Marks)
- Section E: Teaching Aptitude (10 Marks)
