Latest Update on CMAAA Final List 2026

On 16 January 2026, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam made a major announcement regarding the Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan (CMAAA). According to the announcement, the financial assistance under CMAAA will be distributed from 6 February 2026.

The first phase of cheque distribution will begin in Guwahati. After that, the government will distribute cheques by grouping beneficiaries from three districts at a single location, where applicants from those three districts will receive their cheques together.

The Chief Minister further stated that all eligible candidates will be informed before 6 February 2026 through phone calls. Additionally, a list of eligible beneficiaries will be displayed at the office of the newly appointed local MLA, allowing applicants to verify their selection at the local level.

How to Apply CMAAA 2.0

Only registered candidates can proceed with the final application. Follow these simple steps to complete your application:

Step 1: Log in to the official portal and click on the “Apply for Scheme” button.
Step 2: Fill in all the required personal and banking details carefully.
Step 3: Upload the necessary documents along with a Project Report based on your chosen business sector.
Step 4: After successful submission, the system will generate an Acknowledgement Slip with a unique Reference Number. Please save this number.
Step 5: You will also receive a confirmation via SMS and Email.
Step 6: To check your application status later, use the “Track” button and enter your Reference Number.

Eligibility CMAAA 2.0

To apply for the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

Residency & Age: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. As of April 1, 2024, the applicant’s age should be strictly between 28 and 45 years.
Bank Account Rule: The applicant must possess a scheduled commercial bank account opened before April 1, 2024.
Loan History: Candidates who have defaulted on previous bank loans are not eligible for this scheme.
Family Restriction: Only one member per household can avail of this benefit. (Family includes Husband, Wife, and Siblings).
Registration: A valid Employment Exchange Registration number is mandatory.
Previous Beneficiaries: Applicants who have already received benefits under CMAAA 1.0 cannot apply again.
For General Category: Minimum Class 10th (Matric) Pass.
For SC/ST/OBC: Education up to Class 10th is acceptable
